The Blue Mountains was the collective name for a range on Devaron, just outside the city of Montellian Serat.
History
During the Clone Wars, Senator Vien'sai'Malloc from Devaron planted a rumor saying that smugglers had established a base of operations in the south side of the mountains. Actually, Vien'sai'malloc had allied herself with the Separatists and was trying to hide the truth: that the base was a hidden military fortress for the Separatists, from where they launched raids against Republic convoys. However, when facing the cruelty of bounty hunter Aurra Sing, Vien'sai'malloc tried to atone for her past deeds revealing the true location of the base to Jedi Aayla Secura. Thanks to this action, the Separatist base on Blue Mountains could be disabled.
The Eyes of Laqasa were rumored to be stored in a hunting lodge deep within the Blue Mountains. These Force-imbued electrobinoculars featured in a popular Devaronian legends about Jedi Knight Laqasa Trill.[1]
