Blue Three was the call sign of the third member of Blue Squadron. There were a number of starfighter squadrons with this name, and several pilots went by the call sign Blue Three.
History[]
During the Clone Wars, Blue Three was the call sign of clone trooper pilot Slammer, who flew a V-19 Torrent starfighter for the Galactic Republic's Blue Squadron and was killed in the Battle of Ryloth.[1]
Blue Three was the call sign of Rebel X-wing pilot "Rookie One" when he flew with Blue Squadron in the Battle of Yavin.[2]
The call sign was also used by an Imperial TIE pilot whose TIE bomber was shot down in the subjugation of Jabiim.[3]
During the evacuation of Hoth, Rebel Alliance pilot Will Scotian flew as Blue Three.[5]
In 7 ABY,[6] a New Republic pilot with the call sign Blue Three was a member of General Edor Crespin's A-wing squadron stationed at Folor Base . During the base's evacuation, "Blue Three" was separated from a squadronmate using the call sign Blue Four, who mistakenly believed that "Blue Three" had been killed in battle.[4]
Blue Three was the call sign of New Republic pilot Alexandra Winger prior to her capture by the Star Destroyer Judicator[7] in 12 ABY.[6]
