Blue honeycup was a type of tea that was served at Café Raduli in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. It was potable by Caskadags. The Caskadag assassin Anglang Lehet considered drinking it to be one of his few indulgences.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] he drank a cup at Café Raduli, enjoying the tea's piquant sweetness. Lehet later set the tea down when he left the café to follow the Wermal VaporTech salesbeing Kedpin Shoklop.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Blue honeycup first appeared in "Rules of the Game," a short story written by Saladin Ahmed for the 2017 novella collection Canto Bight.[1]

  2. SWInsider.png "Resistance Revisited"—Star Wars Insider 190 establishes that six months before the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens corresponds to thirty years after the Battle of Endor, which in turn corresponds to 34 ABY, according to Star Wars: Galactic Atlas. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary states that the events of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi take place in the same year as the Starkiller Incident, which Galactic Atlas also places in 34 ABY. Since 4 Reasons Canto Bight Is an Essential Read on (backup link) dates the events of the Canto Bight collection to a few days before the events of The Last Jedi, which is set after The Force Awakens, the events of "Rules of the Game," including Anglang Lehet drinking blue honeycup, must happen in that year.
