Boga was a female varactyl, a large lizard-like creature. She dwelled on the planet Utapau, and, in the final days of the Clone Wars, was used by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi as a mount as he engaged General Grievous's forces during the Battle of Utapau.

Description[]

A female[5] varactyl,[4] Boga had iridescent green pebbled skin with a blue sheen. She was fifteen meters long and measured about four meters tall at her shoulder. Her head and neck were fringed with richly colored feathers. Like other varactyls, she possessed strong limbs with five-toed feet featuring curled claws and a long tail that helped her to balance.[5]

Boga was ridden by Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Battle of Utapau.

During his search for General Grievous on Utapau, the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi found himself in a need of a mount. He visited an area of pens where the Pau'an natives kept varactyls and dactillions that they had trained for use as transports. Here, he encountered, and chose the varactyl Boga as his mount[6] after using the Force to influence the mind of a Utai wrangler.[7] She aided him in his fight against General Grievous,[6] but was later killed on the orders of[3] Commander Cody upon the execution of Order 66 in an attempt to kill Kenobi.[6]
