- "Bridger? No, he's too young. Comes from a breed of Bokken Jedi trained in the wild after the Temple fell."
- ―Baylan Skoll, to Shin Hati
"Bokken Jedi" was a term used by the fallen Jedi Baylan Skoll to describe Jedi Padawans who were taken on and trained after the fall of the Jedi Order. Skoll considered Ezra Bridger a Bokken Jedi. At the same time,[1] he[2] regarded his own apprentice, Shin Hati, to be more than a Jedi, thereby excluding[1] her[3] from the description.[1]
