A bombardment occurred on the Tak-Beam complex on the planet Durkteel on the same day as the Battle of Endor when the Galactic Empire dispatched three Star Destroyers to Durkteel after it received rumors of a Rebel Alliance meeting occurring near the planet's industrial center. After jamming transmissions, the Empire decided not to make mass arrests or demand surrender and instead, the Star Destroyers launched an orbital bombardment. One of the many casualties was the rebel Hendri Underholt. Many years after the Galactic Civil War, a rebel artifact, The Rebel Files, was recovered by the planetary governor, Vaxvissh Kal Ness, after an excavation for a new comm tower revealed the artifacts. Eventually, seeing that the artifacts were old war-time rebel relics, intended for senior members of the Alliance, made their way to Major Heck Ensio, Master Archivist Mordianius, and to Commander Korr Sella. Sella then sent it to General Leia Organa of the Resistance, as Organa was one of the few remaining senior members of the Alliance.[1]

- ↑ According to Star Wars: The Rebel Files, the bombardment of Durkteel took place at the same time as Battle of Endor. Since Star Wars: Galactic Atlas states that the Battle of Endor was fought in 4 ABY, the bombardment of Durkteel occurred that year.
- ↑ According to Star Wars: The Rebel Files, the Galactic Empire created a new calendar with AFE, or After the Formation of the Empire, being the years after the Proclamation of the New Order, while BFE, or Before the Formation of the Empire, being the years before the Proclamation of the New Order. Since 4 ABY was 23 standard years after the Proclamation, we can infer that this event took place in 23 AFE on the Imperial calendar.
