"I guess Mr. Borkus was actually telling the truth... for once."

Borkus was a male Sullustan cook living on the planet of Abafar, where he owned and ran the diner Power Sliders in Pons Ora.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Borkus threatening Meebur Gascon with his chef's knife

When CC-5576-39, nicknamed "Gregor," crash-landed on Abafar, Borkus helped by providing accommodations and a job for him, albeit paying a lower wage than what he charged for the rent in order to keep the clone from ever leaving.

When D-Squad landed on the planet, Colonel Meebur Gascon went into Borkus's diner for food and announced that he was from the Grand Army of the Republic. Borkus forced him to leave, so WAC-47 led Gascon to the garbage cans out back to see if there was anything he could eat there.

Gregor was taking out the trash when he discovered Gascon. Meebur knew at once he was a clone trooper, but Gregor did not believe him. Later, Gregor asked Borkus if he was a clone, and Borkus became very angry and told him to never say the word again.

Later, Gregor and D-Squad broke into the diner at night, searching for Gregor's clone armor, when Borkus walked in with it. Borkus pointed Gregor's own DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System at him, and eventually the Sullustan ended up on the floor, tied up thanks to the tow cables of D-Squad. He went seemingly insane as he told them that they would never get off the planet and would be forced to work for him forever and burst out laughing.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Borkus first appeared in "Missing in Action," the twelfth episode in the fifth season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, becoming the first and only Sullustan to appear in the show. Borkus was voiced by veteran Clone Wars actor Tom Kane, who also provides the voice of the narrator and Master Yoda.
