Borta was a human who served as the security chief of the Hetzal system during the High Republic Era, holding the rank of general. Borta continued to lead the security division even after cuts made by Minister Zeffren Ecka reduced his division to a tenth of its former size. Borta was portly, and middle-aged at the time of the Great Hyperspace Disaster.[1]
