For other uses, see Bravo Squad.

Bravo Squad was a squad of clone commandos trained by the Mandalorian sergeant Kal Skirata on the planet Kamino to serve in the Special Operations Brigade of the Grand Army of the Republic. Comprised of four clones of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, Bravo Squad fought in the opening battle of the Clone Wars on the planet Geonosis[1] in 22 BBY.[2] There, they sustained heavy casualties[1] and only one member of the squad, Ram, survived.[1][3] He was redeployed to the Republic's capital world Coruscant five days later. There, Ram took part in a stand-off at the Arca Company Barracks when the six Null-class Advanced Recon Commandos—a cadre of elite clone troopers—took it over. However, the stand-off was peacefully solved by Bravo Squad's training sergeant, Kal Skirata. Bravo Squad, like all of their fellow Republic commando squads, was equipped with Katarn-class commando armor in customized colors.[1]

Behind the scenes

Bravo Squad was first mentioned in the novel, Republic Commando: Triple Zero, which was released in February 2006. Triple Zero was the second entry in the Republic Commando novel series by author Karen Traviss.
