Breathmask survival gear was a type of equipment used by the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic for survival in space. It consisted of a backpack extension with breathing tubes that connected to their Phase II helmets' breath filters. Similar equipment was later used by the Galactic Empire's early Zero-G assault stormtrooper.
