"Brian Daley: 1947-1996" is a one-page article included in the twenty-ninth issue of Star Wars Insider magazine. It was published in 1996, not long after the death of Star Wars author Brian Daley, and it was written by Daley's good friend James Luceno, several years before Luceno had any formal involvement with Star Wars publishing. The obituary was also released online at Daley's website.[2]
