Brin was a male individual who was the hero of the holodrama The Octave Stairway. The holo recounted the adventures of Brin, who along with his friends sought to return to his home, by ascending the fabled Octave Stairway. When she was a child, Jyn Erso gave her father Galen a picture of Brin using Galen's likeness to depict the hero. The drawing was a stairway spiraling down eight levels to a conclave area where Brin received the magical powers that would enable him to return home.[1]
