Brom Santis was the oldest son of Arko Santis. Arko Santis wanted a voice in how the Dessain Mining was run by the Dessain family. So Arko Santis and Eomin Dessain decided that Brom Santis and Eomin's daughter Oma Dessain had to marry. After Oma Dessain got rescued from a kidnapping she decided not to marry Brom. Later Brom would become a foster child in the Dessain family.
