The Brothers of Barbeen was a group[1] that shared its name with the Barbeen system of the Deep Core.[2] Its members wore ultrachrome, a superconductive[1] metal[3] that was resistant to the plasma blades of lightsabers, the signature weapon of the Jedi Order. That fact was noted by Jedi Master Skarch Vaunk in a chapter of the[1] 990 BBY[1][4] Jedi trainee guidebook The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force.[1]
