Bulk transports were transport starships capable of moving large amounts of cargo. The early Confederacy of Independent Systems navy consisted of bulk transports that had previously been used by the various member corporations to move their wares across the galaxy. However, as the Clone Wars continued, Pammant Docks and other facilities manufactured capital ships to make a credible navy.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Bulk transports were first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars roleplaying products.[1] They were originally created for the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared in Twin Stars of Kira, a 1993 supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[2]
