A Bunker-buster torpedo was a two-stage weapon used to penetrate bunkers. They consisted of at least one thermal detonator, which penetrated the bunker, and the main warhead, a proton bomb, that could enter the bunker via the opening the Thermal detonator created. A group of rogue Jedi, led by Jacen Solo, used them during the Raid on Supply Depot Thrago. The Bunker-busters they used were changed in that, when the proton bomb fell into the bunker, they sparked and then hissed for five minutes, in order to give the Chiss inside time to escape.[1]
