C1-4B[4] was a C1-series astromech droid[2] manufactured by Industrial Automaton[1] and owned by the Droid Depot in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. During the First Order occupation of the planet Batuu[3] in 34 ABY,[5] C1-4B was displayed on a shelf of droid parts within the depot. The C-series unit had red, gray and blue paneling and a black sensor. On the left side of its dome the droid bore the logo[3] of the Imperial Press Corps.[6] That year,[7] the author Eloc Throno included an image of C1-4B in the Droid Buyer's Guide section of his book, Traveler's Guide to Batuu.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

C1-4B appeared as a prop within the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[3] which opened to guests at Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019.[8]
