The CC-7700 frigate was a starship used by the Galactic Empire that was capable of emitting an interdiction field. An updated version of the earlier Detainer CC-2200, this frigate was used to pull passing ships out of hyperspace.
History
Five years after the establishment of the Galactic Empire, a rebel cell was able to steal the Carrion Spike, Governor Wilhuff Tarkin's prized corvette. Following the theft, Tarkin led a task group of an Immobilizer 418 cruiser, a Detainer CC-2200, and a CC-7700 frigate from the bridge of the Imperial-class star destroyer Executrix in the Obroa-skai system in order re-capture the vessel. The group failed; however, and the Carrion Spike was not interdicted, although a wanted Lux-400 yacht dubbed the Truant was captured and destroyed.[1]
