A COMPNOR company was a formation of the Imperial Army.

Organization

Consisting of 157 CompForce troops from the observation branch, each company consisted of a command element with a firth officers, including a Captain , the Company lieutenant and four platoons worth of troops. Three COMPNOR observer companies would always be attached to each army, systems army and sector army Headquarters. Which meant that they lacked organic support units.[2]

Role

The role of the observer company was partially disputed by members of the regular army. Who viewed them as northing more than political spies. While troops from assault section of CompForce generally believed they were genuinely there to 'learn' how the imperial military operated.
