Cadinth was an astronomical object located in the Tion Cluster of the regions known as the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] Located in grid square S-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] Cadinth was situated along the Shaltin Tunnels hyperspace route,[3] which connected it to the astronomical objects Lianna and Jaminere.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Cadinth was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Cadinth was introduced in Mission to Lianna, a 1992 supplement authored by Joanne E. Wyrick for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[4] It later made its first appearance in "The Battle of Cadinth," a short story authored by Bill Smith and published in the second issue of the Star Wars Galaxy Magazine series released by The Topps Company, Inc.[5] in January 1995.[6]
