- "His physiology is supposed to be delicate or something, like a canary's."
- ―Lando Calrissian, discussing Quor'sav passenger Waywa Fybot
A canary was a creature known for its delicate physiology. The avian Quor'sav species had a similarly frail constitution, which led the gambler Lando Calrissian to compare their physiology to a canary[1] sometime between 3 BBY and 2 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The canary was mentioned in the 1983 novel Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon, the second entry in The Lando Calrissian Adventures trilogy of novels by L. Neil Smith.[1]
