Warning: This infobox is missing the following parameters: unit2, unit1 The capture of Duro occurred in 11 ABY,[2] during Operation Shadow Hand in the Galactic Civil War, when Vice Admiral Gilad Pellaeon led an Imperial fleet to capture the planet Duro from New Republic forces. However, Pellaeon's flagship Star Destroyer Chimaera was heavily damaged in the attack, with many of Pellaeon's officers killed in the process. Pellaeon was forced to ally himself with High Admiral Treuten Teradoc in the aftermath of the battle.[3]
