- "The place stinks of hyperfuel and desperation. Every spaceport is the same. Yes, they can gild the buildings, play jaunty tunes, even fly holographic flags from the towers, but scratch the surface and you'll find the dregs of the galaxy."
- ―Asajj Ventress
The Carannia Spaceport, also known as the Serenno Spaceport, was a spaceport located in the city of Carannia near the Trannon district, on the planet Serenno.
Description[]
- "It's easy to see why. Everywhere is noise and bustle. Cargoes unloaded, passengers keen to be on their way. Loved ones are reunited and families torn apart, hope and despair in equal measures. Perfect for those who want to slip beneath the sensor. Thieves and smugglers, cutthroats and bounty hunters, all happy to relieve you of your wallet or your life, most often at the same time."
- ―Asajj Ventress
The spaceport was located in the city of Carannia[1] near the Trannon district,[3] on the planet Serenno,[2] the home planet of the noble House Serenno.[4] The main terminal of the spaceport was a domed building next to the control tower.[3] The spaceport itself could house all manners of starship classes. Despite the spaceport being able to accommodate all starship classes, the design of the spaceport was considerate to its natural surroundings.[1]
History[]
The Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress visited the spaceport in the Windrunner airship while searching for Jenza, the sister of her Master, Count Dooku. Ventress left the Windrunner without landing the ship, finding herself behind the duracrete hangar, noting that every spaceport was the same, and headed to the Trannon district.[3] At some point, the Corellian smuggler Han Solo met a girl named Sarla in the Carannia Spaceport, and the two had a brief relationship.[2]
