Carlon Brandes was a Human male who served as a corporal in the Royal Naboo Security Forces around the time of the Invasion of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY.[2] He shared his surname[1] with Hela Brandes, who served as the Music Advisor sitting on the Royal Advisory Council during the first term of Queen Padmé Amidala's reign.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Brandes was first identified in Rogues Gallery: Naboo's Finest!, an article written by Tim Veekhoven, Kevin Beentjes and Sander de Lange for the 145th issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine.[1] The character was given the surname Brandes to establish a link with Hela Brandes, a background character from Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. More specifically, Veekhoven, Beentjes and de Lange intended Carlon to be Hela's son.[4]
