The Carpastor system was a star system that was located in the Rolion sector, within the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Trans-Hydian regions.[2] The system was the location of the phenomenon known as the Carpastor Comet Swarm.[3][4]

The Carpastor system was established in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which placed the system in grid square Q-7.[1]
