- "There's spice, of course, but stick with andris, carsunum, or sansanna and never mess around with ryll or the prime Kessel strains."
- ―Platt Okeefe
Carsunum was a spice variant that the smuggler Platt Okeefe recommended as a profitable cargo in the pirate Maz Kanata's Smuggler's Guide. Okeefe warned against trafficking variants such a ryll or the strains of spice mined on Kessel, and suggested that smugglers stick to variants like carsunum, andris, and sansanna spice.[1]
