A tiny and ill-supplied rebel outpost was located on the terrestrial astronomical object Cassidode VI. The Alliance to Restore the Republic flier Farns Monsbee was the sole snubfighter pilot[1] protecting[2] the outpost and flew the base's only starfighter, an X-wing,[3] for many solo flight hours.[4]
At some point prior to the Battle of Scarif[1] in 1 BBY,[5] Monsbee was transferred to Blue Squadron on the moon Yavin 4. His time on Cassidode VI meant he had logged more solo flight hours than anyone in his new squadron,[1] with the long periods of isolation resulting in Monsbee becoming chatty in the recreation room.[4]
