- "I left Canada around 20 years ago to travel around the world, ended up in Japan, and started in animation over there. It was excellent because it gave me this expertise really early on in my career that allowed me to move into the States."
- ―Catherine Winder
Catherine Winder was the executive producer at Lucasfilm Animation. Since 2007, she oversaw the development and production on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the 2008 film of the same name until she was replaced by Cary Silver during the production of the first season of the series.[2] Winder is a native of Toronto, Canada and began her film career in Japan, which she later said helped her in adopting anime and manga elements into the unique Clone Wars animation style.[1]
