CEDAR Audio is a UK company that (among other things) specialises in audio noise reduction in the recording and post-production chain as well as restoration of existing audio soundtracks. Its DH-1 Dehisser was used to clean up the soundtracks for the restorations of the first Star Wars trilogy in 1997, and for general noise reduction in the production of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. More recent products including its DNS series of dialogue noise suppressors have been used on set and in post on the remaining chapters of the second trilogy and throughout production of the third as well as other Star Wars movies. See Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.
