Celebration (1999)

Star Wars Celebration was the first Celebration. Intended to celebrate the history of Star Wars and promote the then-upcoming Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, the event was sponsored by Lucasfilm and organized by Dan Madsen, president of the official Star Wars Fan Club, and held in Denver, Colorado—where the fan club was based at the time—at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. It was held over three days from April 30 through May 2, 1999.^[2]
