Behind the scenes[]

A Celegian in Star Wars Legends.
The Celegians appeared, albeit unidentified, in the current Star Wars canon in the first issue of the comic miniseries Star Wars: Han Solo, which was written by Marjorie Liu, illustrated by Mark Brooks,[1] and published by Marvel Comics on June 15, 2016.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Celegians originated in Tales of the Jedi – The Golden Age of the Sith 0, written by Kevin J. Anderson and illustrated by Chris Gossett.[4] Illustrator Mark Brooks confirmed on Twitter that he included a Celegian in the issue after doing research into various alien races to use.[2]
