Central City was a small country town on the planet of Lothal. When the Galactic Empire occupied Lothal, elite stormtroopers were charged with patrolling the streets of Central City, despite its minor importance. One Friday, the young street urchin Ezra Bridger got upset by the Imperial presence in such an unassuming locale. In his private journal, Bridger expressed his intention to knock out stormtroopers in Central City with the help of his energy slingshot.^[1]
