- "There is a similar situation on Chamble. Only there it is the local police force that is on strike. The resulting unrest has impacted the market capitalization of Bansche Tech. It has greatly suffered."
- ―Finis Valorum
Chamble was a terrestrial astromical object. A part of the Galactic Republic, it was represented by a senator.[1] In 33 BBY,[2] Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum discussed with Naboo Senator Sheev Palpatine and Jedi Masters Yoda and Adi Gallia an ongoing uprising on Chamble deemed to have been caused by a local police strike. When Gallia mentioned sending Jedi negotiators there, Palpatine mentioned that Chamble's senator only wanted protection for local businesses. When Yoda pointed out that the Jedi were not police officers, Valorum stated his belief that only a visit was required, with Palpatine suggesting a training mission for show. Gallia promptly made a note before the group moved on to other business.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the current Star Wars canon, Chamble was mentioned in The Living Force, a 2024 novel written by John Jackson Miller.[1]
