The chameleon droid was a type of droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. At the start of the fourth month of the war, chameleon droids ambushed the Jedi Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee within the Jedi Temple of Ilum. The temple was almost completely destroyed and the two Jedi were caught in the rubble, but were saved by Grand Master Yoda.[2]
