The Charbodians were the inhabitants of the Charbodia system in the Inner Rim.[1][2] One Charbodian worthy of note was a military cook at a Galactic Republic medical station on Drongar during the Clone Wars.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

The Charbodians are mentioned in the novel MedStar I: Battle Surgeons, written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry and published by Del Rey in 2004. The book does not specify whether the term Charbodian refers to a sentient species or is merely a planetary demonym, such as Corellian or Hapan.

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Charbodia appears to be one such case.
