Charl Sstena was a male Jawa smuggler, apparently from the planet Tatooine.
Biography
Around 0 ABY, Charl Sstena helped sell C-3PO and R2-D2 to Luke Skywalker and his family.[1]
He apparently survived the onslaught by the Imperial Stormtroopers soon after, when he was found by a spacer on Corellia some time around 1 ABY.[1]
Behind the scenes
Charl Sstena is a Non-Player Character (NPC) in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. Players who take part in the "Meatlump Themepark" can receive a quest where they must speak to Charl. When the player speaks to him, Charl will ramble on about Uncle Owen and R5-D4.
