Charlene Newcomb is the author of several short stories for the Star Wars Adventure Journals, many of which were also available on Hyperspace: Fiction. Her primary protagonist is Alex Winger.
Biography[]
Charlene Newcomb was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and currently lives in Manhattan, Kansas.
Newcomb graduated from University of Maryland, University College with a B.A. degree in U.S. history after serving in the United States Navy. She worked for the federal government in a civilian capacity for a short time before leaving Maryland for North Carolina and then Florida. She attended the University of South Florida and received a master's degree in library and information science in 1996.
