The Charon Death Cult, also known as the Cult of Death, was the primary religious body formed by the Charon species during their time in their home dimension of otherspace. The Charon homeworld was located near a huge black hole which influenced the arachnoid species into believing that the inevitable goal of life was death. Led by the Prophet of the Void, the Charon preached that all life was to return to the "Void of Death," which took rapid control of Charon society during the early years of the New Order.
