Chata Hyoki was a male Selkath bounty hunter during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
In 21 BBY, Chata Hyoki, along with Robonino, attempted to kill Senator Padmé Amidala for Count Dooku. They also injured Onaconda Farr, Bail Prestor Organa, and several other senators to try to stop a vote on a Senate bill. He was arrested along with Robonino when they attacked Bail in a car park.
Equipment[]
He had concealable wrist blasters on both of his gauntlets, and a grappling spike launcher on his left gauntlet. He also made use of a small hand knife. He wore a personalised helmet and battle armor designed for Selkaths. Because of him being an aquatic species, his chest armor had mist vents to keep his skin moist.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
His gauntlets appear to be the same, but since he is only seen using the grappling spike launcher on his left gauntlet, it is presumed he only has one. His StarWars.com "clone card" incorrectly states he has a dart shooter instead of a Grappling spike launcher, and a wrist-mounted laser, instead of Wrist blasters, as he is seen using in his first appearance.
Chata Hyoki was voiced by Corey Burton who also voiced Count Dooku and many other characters in the series. The model for Hyoki was later used for Morgo, a character in the episode Padawan Lost.[3]
