The Chiss Defense Force was the internal defense fleet of the Chiss Ascendancy's military, charged with protecting the territory of the Ascendancy. It was led by Supreme Admiral Ja'fosk, and consisted of multiple warships including the Firewolf man-of-war, the Groundlion man-of-war,^[1] and the Chiss Defense Force Transport.^[3] Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet warships were not allowed to participate in events located within Chiss territory, as that was the Defense Force's responsibility.^[1]
