The Chiss warship was a warship[1] utilized by the Defense Fleet of the Chiss Ascendancy that glistened with lights and was covered in weaponry.[2] Darth Vader noticed that it was not as big as a Star Destroyer, although after seeing its flankside weaponry he believed it would be a formidable opponent.[1] One such starship was used by Admiral Ar'alani to rendezvous with Commander Eli Vanto of the naval branch of the Galactic Empire in the aftermath of the Batonn insurgency,[2] and was again used to gather and return kidnapped Force-sensitive female Chiss children after a battle between the Grysk and the Galactic Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
The starship first appeared, albeit unnamed, in the 2017 canon novel by Timothy Zahn, Thrawn,[2] and was later pictured in Thrawn 6, the sixth part of a comic adaptation by Jody Houser of the novel that was released in 2018, with illustrations by Luke Ross.[3]
