Christian Simpson (born January 31, 1973) is a British actor, writer, and composer.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Christian Simpson portrayed several characters including starfighter pilot Bravo Six, Lieutenant Gavyn Sykes, in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[2][3] Simpson's likeness was reused for Sykes in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies and the game Battle For Naboo.

Simpson served as Hayden Christensen's stand-in during the filming of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith,[4][5] as well as playing the actions of the female BD-3000 luxury droid.

In Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens Simpson voiced aliens and stormtroopers,[6][7] as well as co-producing Nien Nunb's dialogue with Matthew Wood.[8][9]

Christian Simpson is the voice of Resistance X-Wing pilot C'ai Threnalli, whose appearances include LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Force Awakens.[10][11]

He also voices the member of Saw Gerrera's Rebels reclaiming Jedha Kyber crystals, as well as Death Star Imperials, in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.[12]

In Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker he co-scripted & directed Nien Nunb's dialogue, performed by Simpson's client and Nunb voice actor since 1983, Kipsang Rotich.[13]

In 2014 Simpson also became a contributor for StarWars.com.[14]
