Chrome Citadel was a run-down space station located in deep space[1] in the Expansion Region.[2] Once inhabited by asteroid miners, Chrome Citadel was abandoned decades before the Galactic Civil War and eventually became home to underworld types such as smugglers and slavers.[1] In 28 ABY,[3] Chrome Citadel was still inhabited but the piecemeal repairs done to the station's original hull gave the place the appearance that it could fall apart at any moment.[1]

Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the events of The Force Awakens to 34 ABY, so Bloodline must take place in 28 ABY.
