The City Municipal Authorities Building was a structure located in the Federal District of Galactic City, the ecumenopolis that covered the Galactic Republic capital of Coruscant. Gray in color, the top of the building consisted of a spire that emerged above Level 5127, the highest level of Coruscant during the Naboo Crisis[1] in 32 BBY.[2] A district of seedy restaurants and malls was found several levels down from the surface on one side of the building, and the Diplomat Hotel and Galactic Courts of Justice were also located nearby.[1]

In the current Star Wars canon, the City Municipal Authorities Building was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations. It was part of material reprinted[1] from the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, which was written by Kristin Lund, illustrated by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen, and marked the first mention of the building in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3] It then appeared for the first time in Legends in The Clone Wars: Decide Your Destiny: Crisis on Coruscant, a 2010 installment in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Decide Your Destiny book series written by Jonathan Green.[4]
