The Civilian Defense Force, also known as the Yavin system's Defense Force, was a civil defense force tasked with protecting the Yavin system.[2] After the Battle of Endor, Lieutenant Shara Bey retired from the Alliance to Restore the Republic and settled with her family on Yavin 4. She flew her old Alliance RZ-1 A-wing interceptor as part of the civilian defense.[1]
