The Clacis sector was a part of the Outer Rim Territories that was located southwest of the Raioballo sector world Lah'mu.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Clacis sector was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the StarWars.com article "Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Rogue One?." The article was written by Mark Newbold and published on January 31, 2017.[1]
In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Clacis sector was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] The sector was illustrated on a map designed by Modi and included in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to The Essential Atlas later placed the Praya system in the Clacis sector,[4] thereby also establishing the planet Praya's appearance in an in-universe video advertisement in the[5] 1989[6] Star Tours theme park in Tokyo, Japan as the de facto earliest appearance of the Clacis sector.[5]
