BX-series were fourth class droid
Class four droids, also known as fourth class droids[1] or fourth-degree droids,[2] were droids skilled in security and military functions.[1]
Models[]
Fourth-degree models included Baktoid Combat Automata's[3] B2-series super battle droids,[2] tactical droids, and BX-series droid commandos,[1] all of which were classed as battle droids.[3][4][5]
Characteristics[]
Most fourth class droids were not programmed to speak and interact with organic beings. The KX-series security droid was an exception, though it was not proficient when compared with a protocol droid,[6] whose capabilities were similar to that of the T-series and its successor, both of which were tactical droid models used by the Confederacy.[3]
