The CloakShape fighter was a type of starfighter in use during the Age of the Empire. Luke Skywalker and Nakari Kelen were attacked by pirates in CloakShapes while flying the Desert Jewel though Hutt Space. The pirates, flying three CloakShapes and a number of A/SF-01 B-wing starfighters, attacked after the Jewel dropped out of hyperspace in the Nanth'ri system.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the Star Warscanon, the CloakShape fighter first appeared in the 2015 novel Heir to the Jedi, by author Kevin Hearne.[1]
In Star Wars Legends, the CloakShape first appeared in the 1992 comic issue Dark Empire 3, the third issue of the Star Wars: Dark Empireseries of comics.[2]
