Clone Marshal Commander, or simply Marshal Commander, was the highest military rank that a clone trooper commander could hold within the Galactic Republic's Grand Army. As elite officers, Clone Marshal Commanders were entrusted with leading corps-level formations of clone troopers, the largest military formation that could be led by a clone trooper, and liaised directly with their assigned Jedi General. During the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Grand Army of the Republic had forty Clone Marshal Commanders, each overseeing one of the army's forty corps.[2]
Within the hierarchical structure of the Grand Army of the Republic, Marshal Commanders were subordinate to Senior Jedi Generals, while Senior Clone Commanders were subordinate to Clone Marshal Commanders.[2] Notable Clone Marshal Commanders included Marshal Commander Bacara of the 21st Nova Corps,[3] Marshal Commander Bly of the 327th Star Corps,[1] Marshal Commander Cody of the 7th Sky Corps,[4] and Marshal Commander Neyo of the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps.[5]
