A type of training armor was worn by clone cadets as they were training on the planet Kamino.
Characteristics[]

A clone cadet squad in training
The armor consisted of a full body suit and a helmet. The armor was more padded looking than standard Phase I clone trooper armor and its helmet left the full face of the clone trooper visible, unlike standard armor. Domino Squad and Bravo Squad wore this armor as they completed their training. This armor was only worn on Kamino and was replaced by real clone armor when the clone cadet graduated from training.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Clone training armor first appeared in the episode "Clone Cadets."[1] It was inspired by the old leather uniforms worn by football players.[2]
